01Every listingAuthority, accuracy, availability, and lawful completion are required.
Every listing
Post only an item, service, property interest, job, or request that you own or are authorized to offer. Use the right category and current photos. State the real price, condition, important defects, approximate location, timing, included parts, and material limits.
Do not post duplicates, bait-and-switch offers, unavailable items, keyword stuffing, fake scarcity, impersonation, or traffic-diverting content.
02Prohibited listingsIllegal, stolen, exploitative, deceptive, or unreasonably dangerous offers are not allowed.
Prohibited listings
Do not post anything unlawful to possess, advertise, sell, provide, import, export, transport, or transfer. Stolen or counterfeit goods, controlled substances, fraud tools, malware, compromised accounts, personal-data lists, exploitative sexual content, trafficking, coercion, and services intended for unlawful harm are prohibited.
Some lawful but high-risk categories may also be unavailable. If Wildrose does not provide an approved posting flow for a regulated category, do not post it.
03Regulated categoriesWildrose does not replace a licence, permit, registry, inspection, or professional opinion.
Regulated categories
The person posting remains responsible for licences, permits, disclosures, inspections, records, and transfer rules. This can apply to vehicles, equipment, animals, food, farm products, chemicals, professional services, property, rentals, and employment. A profile or category choice is not government approval.
04Vehicles and equipmentDescribe the machine honestly and complete the Alberta transfer properly.
Vehicles and equipment
State the real make, model, year, configuration, kilometres or hours, material damage, known defects, operating status, and known title or lien facts. Keep full VINs, serial numbers, registration papers, keys, and ownership records out of the public listing.
For a private vehicle sale in Alberta, use an Alberta standard bill of sale. Buyers should confirm ownership, match the VIN, obtain a lien search, and consider an independent inspection before paying.
05Animals and livestockWelfare, lawful ownership, health, traceability, and humane transport come first.
Animals and livestock
Use current photos and accurately disclose species or breed, material health and behaviour, and the intended transfer. Follow applicable animal identification, premises identification, movement documents, disease-control, transport, and welfare rules.
Cruelty, fighting, wildlife trafficking, unlawful breeding or transfer, and a transfer that cannot be completed humanely are prohibited.
06Food and farm productsLocal sales still require safe handling and truthful claims.

Sellers remain responsible for applicable licensing, inspection, processing, labelling, allergens, weights, temperature control, traceability, and delivery. Do not make unsupported health, organic, origin, humane, veterinary, pesticide-free, or certification claims.
07Property, services, and jobsAuthority, material facts, fair advertising, and worker rights apply.
Property, services, and jobs
Property: advertise only with authority, state material terms honestly, and keep title records, tenant information, access details, and offer documents private.
Services: describe who performs the work, the service area, price basis, material exclusions, and only current licences or insurance.
Jobs: post a real paid opportunity with an accurate employer, work, compensation, schedule, location, and application path. Applicant fees, identity harvesting, deceptive recruitment, and discriminatory preferences contrary to the Alberta Human Rights Act are prohibited.
08Photos, price, and promotionShow the real subject, protect private details, and state an attainable price.
Photos, price, and promotion
Use media you created or may lawfully use. Do not hide defects, copy another seller’s photos, or expose documents, addresses, access systems, or children’s information. Wildrose may remove embedded location data and create safer display copies.
State prices in Canadian dollars unless clearly shown otherwise. Do not hide mandatory non-government fees or advertise a price that cannot reasonably be obtained. Paid placement must be labelled and never changes safety or enforcement rules.
09Review and enforcementWildrose may ask for evidence, correct reach, or remove an ineligible listing.
Review and enforcement
Wildrose may hold publication, request private evidence, require a correction, limit discovery, remove a listing, pause a promotion, or restrict posting. Payment, account age, verification, or popularity does not buy an exception.
