Map sources & precision
The province outline is based on the Government of Alberta ATS v4.1 boundary. Ecological regions come from Alberta’s Natural Regions and Subregions. Terrain combines Natural Resources Canada’s 30 m MRDEM hillshade with its 2020 Land Cover of Canada. At close zoom, crop colour comes from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s 30 m 2025 Annual Crop Inventory, admitted only on confident agricultural pixels; engraved tree and field marks are decorative and clipped to source classes. Province views include locally cached Alberta 1:2,000,000 paved-road and water context. Close views stream sharper Alberta 1:20,000 hydrography, paved roads, index contours, and generalized urban and rural municipality context. Everything is a local snapshot, and no live map provider is used. Place markers show community reference points only, never a seller’s address or an exact listing location.
